The major problem with find a grave seems to be that people want to put as many graves markers as they can. They are in competition with each others. Most of the time they do not know the individuals information except what is on the marker. They don't link families and and don't have complete information.
My suggestion to find a grave is make it more user friendly where others can correct misinformation and where you can link children and parents easily.
They don't want duplication, however some of these people believe they own your family, and they are not even related. They won't give you ownership and thus keep it and make it harder for you to help individuals that may be looking for your family member.
They don't seem to think any one else does family history or walk cemeteries or knows something about their own family.
There are a few that really get on my nerves with their cockee attitudes. I think I am done with it. In the next few months I will have a site up and running with my own cemetery information. I just need to get it all done.... and I will keep adding to it as needed. So keep in touch .. I will not only have their markers, but their obits when I can locate them. I will need sponsors eventually, as this will become expensive. If you want to help me.... just write and I will let you know how.

Please keep in mind that I have lots of time and money invested in this project. Many of the names are family members... some a few (not usually very far) generations down the line. Others are names in my husband's family, brothers-in-laws families and my sons-in-laws families and daughter-in-laws families. Some are related to others in my family tree but not directly to me. All information I have personally gathered. I did not use any information from the Mormon Church's many sites. I have researched everything. Most photos belong to me directly, except the ones that I have given credit too.
