Georgia Ann Butcher
Georgia Ann Butcher, 59, of Danville, died at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday (April 10, 1996) at United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus.
She was born July 13, 1936, in Danville, the daughter of Don and Garnett Knee Goebel.
She was married to Cecil A. Butcher July 1, 1955, in Danville. He survives.
Also surviving: three sons, Donald A. Butcher of Pittsburg, PA., Timothy E. (Candy) Butcher of Georgetown, and James A. (Dian) Butcher of Danville; five grandchildren, Dawn Ann Tyler, Jeremy, Candy Lynn and Beth Ann; and her great-aunts Ruby Taylor of Danville, Margaret Jones of Georgetown, and Madge Anderson of Ypsilanti, Mich. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Mrs. Butcher was a member of the Vermilion Heights Methodist Church and was a Cubs fan.
Services: 2 p.m. Friday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home; Officiating: Revs. Kevin Noruie and Kenneth Bostwick; Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home; Cremation will follow as she had requested.
