Emily Thornton's Funeral is Held
Services occur from home of son Harmon Avenue Monday.
*The funeral of Emily F. Thornton was held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home of Charles Thornton, 701 Harmon Avenue.

Emily F. Thornton, aged 73 years, died at the residence of her son, Charles Thornton, 701 Harmon avenue, after an illness of several weeks. Deceased was born in Oakwood Township and lived her whole life in Vermilion county. Her maiden name was Emily F. Blakney. Two sons and two daughters survive her, William F. Thornton of Bloomington, Ind.; Mrs. Sarah Ann Jones of Catlin, Ill.; Mrs. Mary Meek of Ottumwa,Ia.; and Charles Thornton of 701 Harmon Avenue, this city. Mrs. Thornton is survived also by one sister, Mrs. Rachel Swank of Indianola, Ill.

Birth and Death records also cost. Before I do that search I will require a deposit in my paypal account. Please ask ahead if I will be charged to help you.
