Virginia B. Furrow

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Pape Memorial Home for Virginia B. Furrow, 74, of 1011 ½ Belton. She died Friday (Jan. 23, 1981) at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

The Rev. Gerald Nichols will officiate with burial in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Furrow worked at the former Flamingo plant for 10 years and had last worked at the former Continental Filling plant. She attended Danville schools. She attended Grace Methodist Church.

Born March 9, 1906, in Danville, she was the daughter of Humphrey and Martha Ratz Morgan. She married Charles Furrow Dec. 25, 1923, in Danville. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Beverly Carpenter of Danville; her mother, Mrs. Martha Morgan of Danville; a brother Elmer Morgan of Danville; and a grandchild.

She also was preceded in death by her father, a brother and a sister.
