Baer's Parents Veto His Marriage Plans
Oakland, Calif. July 8 - Max Baer, California heavy weight boxer will not have the blessings of his parents when he weds Dorothy Dunbar Wells DeGarson, former actress at Reno, Nevada Wednesday.
"Why she's old enough to be Maxie's mother," Mrs. Dora Baer, the boxer's mother said today. "She's 38 and Maxie is only 22. She's taking a mere boy to raise for a husband."
