Milford, Ill. -- Harry Frame, 87, of 405 Ashford, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 21, 1981) at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. He had been a patient five weeks.
A retired baker, he was a member of the United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and Modern Woodmen of America, all of Milford.
Born Aug. 30, 1893, in Milford, he was the son of Henry and Mary Thomas Frame. He was married Aug. 1, 1917, in Watseka to Alice Winter, who died in 1971.
Survivors include a son, __________Three daughters, _________ and Mrs. _________ , both of ______ , and _______ of _______; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Barker Funeral Home in Milford. The Rev. Harold Flessner will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 Friday at the funeral home.

Williamsport, Ind. --- Charles D. Watkins, 77, 210 E. Third, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 21, 1981) at Community Hospital. He had been a patient since Jan. 9 and ill three months.
He retired in 1970 from the maintenance department at Purdue University. For the past 10 years, he had worked at the Citizens State Bank in Williamsport.
A resident of Williamsport, he was the son of Neuman and Lena Bartley Watkins. On Nov. 30, 1931, in Waukegan, Ill., he married Elna Nystrom, who survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, _________ and __________; a granddaughter, _________; and two aunts, Mrs. Gladys Bartley Karl and Mrs. Doris Bartley Schwerm, both of Peoria, Ill.
Services will be at 11 a.m. EST Saturday at the Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport. The Rev. Don Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Covington, Ind. --- Jackie went to be with the Lord at 4:15 a.m. Feb. 10, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Jackie was born Jan. 16, 1931, in Catlin. Se lived in Danville until 1970 and then moved to Chester.
She worked 23 years as the office supervisor at Chester Memorial Hospital. She treasured her many years in Chester, the many friends that she made at work and as a member of the United Methodist Church. She was currently residing in Covington, Ind.
She enjoyed cooking, shopping, quilting and reading the Bible. Jackie also spent many hours playing bridge and euchre with family and friends. She loved listening to Christian radio, especially Dr. Stanley, and was always up for a picnic. Jackie loved Mexican food, margaritas, her special Golden Cadilacs at bridge, and she was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. Her favorite TV show was "Wheel of Fortune."
Jackie was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Mabel Bell; brothers, Robert Bell, Jim Bell, Warren Bell; sister Dorothy Budislik; sons, Kevin and Randy; daughter Cynthia; grandson Shawn Sams; and a special neice, Melinda Beckes.
She is survived by a sister, ______; sister-in-law, ______; children _____, _________, __________, ____________; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and special friend ___________.

Walter W. "Bill" Slifer, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at Florida Hospital Flagler, in Palm Coast, Fla.
He was 85 years old and was born Sept. 3, 1920 in Danville, Ill. He resided in Danville, Ill. for 64 years and then moved to Bunnell, Fla., in 1984. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bunnell, Fla. Bill loved to travel and was able to explore all but one of the 50 United States.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years,__________, daughter _____, son _____ three grandchildren, _____, _____, and ______; and four great-grandchildren ______, _____, _______, and _____, He is also survived by a sister _________ of Danville, Ill; and a close family friend, ________.
He and his wife sponsored a Vietnamese family, who came to the United States in 1979, ______ and _____ and their children.

She was born May 29, 1928, in Graham, Ky., the daughter of the late Thomas and Janna Elizabeth (Durall) Groves. She married Secrate Belcher Jr. on June 28, 1946, at Mt. Vernon, Ky., and he died July 16, 1994.
They operated Belcher's Standard Service Station at Gilbert and Fairchild streets in Danville several years. She was employed seven years at General Electric in Danville. They enjoyed making trips to the Smokey Mountains on their motorcycle. She enjoyed visits of her family, games shows on TV and going to rummage sales. The last five years, she enjoyed going to Florida and watching the dolphins in the ocean.
Surviving are three daughters, _____,_____,______; a sister, _________; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and her special cat Muffin.

Orval K. Pate, 57, of 522 Sherman St., died at 3:15 p.m. Friday (Dec. 6, 1963) in St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient two days.
Mr. Pate had been in failing health for four years, and bedfast one week.
Born Nov. 4, 1906 at Catlin, he was the son of William W. and Ollie Mae Gritton Pate. He was married June 8, 1928 at Watseka to Daisy Mae Sherman, and she survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. William Pate of Catlin; three sons, Leo D. of Catlin, William G. at home, and Orval B. of Danville; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Goranson of Morton Grove, Ill.; three brothers, Donald Pate of Janesville, Wis., Dale and Henry Pate, both of Catlin; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Farvit of Danville, Mrs. Betty Burton of Catlin, Mrs. Dorothy Hickman of Cissna Park, and Mrs. Marie Miller of Chicago; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a son.
Following his marriage in 1928, Mr. Pate moved his family to Catlin where he lived until 1952.
Mr. Pate had worked for the old Bunsenville Coal Co., and for the past 17 years had been engaged in construction work.
His hobbies were collecting pencils and raising beagle hounds.
Mr. Pate was a former member of the Operating Engineers Local. He also held membership in the Illinois Sheriff's Association, Vermilion County Law Enforcement Association, Masonic Lodge 285 of Catlin, Danville Consistory, Gao Grotto, and Anzar Shrine of Springfield.

Masonic Rites will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home by the Catlin lodge.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday.

Orval K. Pate, 57, of 522 Sherman St., died at 3:15 p.m. Friday (Dec. 6, 1963) in St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient two days.
Mr. Pate had been in failing health for four years, and bedfast one week.
Born Nov. 4, 1906 at Catlin, he was the son of William W. and Ollie Mae Gritton Pate. He was married June 8, 1928 at Watseka to Daisy Mae Sherman, and she survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. William Pate of Catlin; three sons, Leo D. of Catlin, William G. at home, and Orval B. of Danville; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Goranson of Morton Grove, Ill.; three brothers, Donald Pate of Janesville, Wis., Dale and Henry Pate, both of Catlin; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Farvit of Danville, Mrs. Betty Burton of Catlin, Mrs. Dorothy Hickman of Cissna Park, and Mrs. Marie Miller of Chicago; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a son.
Following his marriage in 1928, Mr. Pate moved his family to Catlin where he lived until 1952.
Mr. Pate had worked for the old Bunsenville Coal Co., and for the past 17 years had been engaged in construction work.
His hobbies were collecting pencils and raising beagle hounds.
Mr. Pate was a former member of the Operating Engineers Local. He also held membership in the Illinois Sheriff's Association, Vermilion County Law Enforcement Association, Masonic Lodge 285 of Catlin, Danville Consistory, Gao Grotto, and Anzar Shrine of Springfield.
